The Very First Eclipses of 2026

Here are the DC Horoscopes with penned on notations of the very first Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2026. First comes the 10 North Eclipse of February 17, 2026 @28AQ49 rising in Washington DC (with frustrations, inhibitions, communication and paperwork issues, along with fatigue in tow - Brady), then the Total Lunar Eclipse perfects on March 3, 2026 @12Vir53 - just prior to sunrise:

So as you see, year 2026 begins with the Leo-Aquarius Self-Will axis which for best karmic progress prefers humanitarianism in leadership. Then comes the Full Moon response falling across the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis suggesting a continuation of the brutality and sadism already being expressed by certain politicians along with the radical reforms they're determined to enforce upon the American people - against our will.

Meanwhile, in the Solar Eclipse Horoscope, rebellious Uranus in 3rd house of Neighborhoods squares the Eclipse symbolizing radical extremists who are uncaring or indifferent to the needs of society (paraphrasing R. Lineman).

Now it may be pretty fussy of me to pencil in a Mutable Grand Cross to the Lunar Eclipse Horoscope but it's in the chart because of the multiple financial indicators in both eclipse charts such as:

Jupiter Rx @15Cancer+ conjoins the Pentagon's 1942 Ascendant (Jupiter the corporate banker and the general), transit MIDAS conjuncts 10 North's IC of Endings and Root Causes, and a Mutable Grand Cross formed by the Sun-Moon midpoint opposed by transit MIDAS and added to the Lunar Eclipse (Sun-Moon opposition - with Jupiter as Thales Planet which can diffuse or mitigate some of the tension within the Lunar Eclipse energies).

The Mutable pattern symbolizes the tendency of some folks to give in to external pressures rather than to resist or challenge those in society who bully and oppress. Of course, this may relate to protesters and threats against them as well as financial matters, as noted. And generally, this Mutable pattern reveals vacillation, uncertainty, instability, indecision, unreliability, and/or a lack of conviction (B. Tierney) - you know - like a corporate CEO.

However, if you, dear reader, don't want the Mutable Grand Cross highlighted here in green, then simply ignore it, despite the heists and scams that we know are going on, plus, the golden absurdities and extravagance - while we all hope that those with better judgment, stronger ethics, and greater awareness can manage to navigate our nation over the current choppy waters to reach a calmer shore.
